Major period of stress just about over haha, I'm giving myself a night off tonight. (:D) Though I've still got work to do, at least I'm not swamped, like last week.
Geog trip to Swannage was THE. BEST. THING. EVER. Okay, so it meant that I missed my first ever concert which I really really wanted to go to (McFly), I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Bus trip there, everyone was tired cos we'd had to wake up really early and everyone had been up till late doing coursework so it was quite dead but as we reached the place where we were staying (some research center), everyone livened up and we started singing and things :D Reached the place and went to our dorms :D It was so cool :D Haha, I got the top bunk! :D Anyway, shared room with Dhulakshi, Bairavie, Molly, Nish and Ellie with Holly, Grace and Gee in the adjoining room (: Went for a walk along the beach + coast to look at the land forms and things. It was SO pretty, simply breathtaking I'm telling you. And the sea was blue. BLUE. All the seas I've seen have been green, heh. It was so amazing ugh, I don't believe that such things even exist. It's not possible! Haha. & I realise how much of the world I haven't seen yet. One day, I'll see it all. That was my
100 words for Saturday (or was it Sunday? haha). Anyway, got some free time in Swannage where we bought Jess' birthday present. Went back to dorms, dinner then bowling :D Place was swarming with Chavs but we had fun haha xD Mr. Norton can't bowl to save his life hahaha & Mr. Tiplin's SUCH a show off hehhh (he actually looks like Noddy, no jokes). Back to dorms, lights out at 11 but we continued talking anyway. Haha. WHO sleeps at sleepovers/trips? haha. It's wierd how it's so easy to open up to these people. Maybe it's simply cos I was so tired and my gaurd was down, but it was good. I mean, I'd never be able to talk about stuff like that to people in Singapore. (No offence). I've tried, but people just... don't speak. Or give vague answers/thoughts. It's just a culture thing I suppose. Cos one thing I realise, is that Singaporeans don't really voice their opinions? I won't go to the extent to say that they have none, (and this is just a generalisation,) but I realise how we've always been spoon fed info/opinions since we were young and that's just, wrong. Anyway, we were playing circle of truth (truth or truth, basically, except everyone has to answer the question haha) and it's strange how one question could lead to so many secrets being spilled. It was good haha, I love them :D And it's wierd cos I don't normally talk to them as much as I'd talk to my good friends in school haha (: Slept at 2, woke at 7. Breakfast then more walking around looking at coasts and rocks which sounds really boring but it was amazing, really. I loved the view and I loved the company. Before, I was quite disappointed that I was missing the concert and also annoyed that the trip was organised at such a hugely bad time but now I/we don't regret going at all. Some people (no names) bitterly said that it was an utter bore and they hated it, but most of us say it was amazing. Maybe cos we were so determined to have a good time and not waste a perfectly good weekend. Haha I dunno la, it was fun.
Missed trng on Monday because of the huge mass of work due today :/ Match against Reeds meant to happen today but I think our opponents forgot or sthing. Lucky it was just a friendly. We were warming up for about an hour then sitting around for another hour and a half before we realised. Ugh, it was so annoying. Wasted so much time. Ahwells. Cup Tournament tomorrow. I'm so excited! Haha, looking forward to it (& missing school xD). But quite nervous as well. I've got so much faith in this team and I see so much potential, even if we are all still quite rusty and unbonded. Heh :/ Gosh, I'm too idealistic. Haha. Nevermind, COME ON TIFFIN!
